The Redskins have signed quarterback Mark Sanchez today due to Alex Smith done for the season with a broken tibia and fibula, but Sanchez will be a backup just in case McCoy can’t be the starter or he gets injured. There was talk about other quarterbacks being brought in, but it looks like he had a great tryout so that’s all the Redskins Medes to see for a backup quarterback.
