The former Patriots running back Mike Gillislee is trying out with the Saints today, and if all go well he could get signed. If they do sign him they would put him as the third string but as running back Mark Ingram is out with a four week suspension, that means he will be the second string running back behind starting running back Alvin Kamara. For your information, the reason why Gillislee is a former Patriots was because yesterday (final roster releases) the Patriots released him to make it to the 53 man roster.
