The Patriots have announced that running back Rex Burkhead is going to be placed on injury reserve due to a neck injury he suffered against the Lions, when he suffered it during the game he wasn’t able to come back so his probability to come back later in this season is unknown. Kenjon Barner, who signed with the Patriots on Tuesday will take the spot of Burkhead.
