The Chargers have just announced that they have signed back tight end Antonio Gates to a year contract, Gates finished his lasted year out of his two year contract and the Chargers did tell Gates that they would start tight end Hunter Henry but that didn’t work out so great. Here’s why, Henry might be out with a torn ACL but right now he’s not being placed on injury reserve but on PUP so he will be missing six weeks. So Henry wouldn’t likely be coming back this year (unless needed) so we could see him next season, so now it’s looking Gates (to me) wants to impress the team and try to get interest from teams and likely get another deal from the Chargers or another team. Agree or disagree?
