The Raiders have released wide receiver Griff Whalen with a injury settlement from when Whalen was on injury reserve, the reason why the Raiders put Whalen on injury reserve was because he was dealing with a turf toe injury this past Monday. This actually helps Whalen as when both sides reach a injury settlement agreement, because once he is fully healthy and ready to go again, he will be able to sign with another team.
