Steelers placed offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins on injury reserve who suffered a torn quad during Wednesday’s practice and underwent surgery today, there is still little hope left for his return but it’s looking like he’s going to be out for the entire season. Hawkins is entering his second year of his 4 year contract, in 2017 Hawkins played in 5 games for the Steelers and had appeared in 48 total snaps.
